ABOUT THE DARK SIDE
In 2001, The Dark Side was established. We were an organization that went where no one dared to go -- against a club board. Our first event had a profit of 800 dollars. We added 200 to the pot and gave $500 to the Alzheimer's Respite of Hilton Head and $500 to start a bank account for the then about to be formed Coastal Empire Region of PCA. This year the Dark Side returns to its original roots-- once again giving to charity.

Our November 2008 event will be dedicated to children that are "Driving to Success," the Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton, SC. We have planned a wonderful Saturday event for them. Bill Charlton, our classroom instructor has a special DE class for them, the track is trying for a Fire and Rescue demonstration and we invite our participants to invite a child into their car for a family parade. Kevin of Hilton Head, courtesy of Ralph Sutton, will be preparing a BBQ lunch for the children. There will be plenty of photo opportunities and, well, just good fun.

Many of our Dark Side regulars will be there to help out for charity.
